Hi Michele,
lets suppose that your iPhone is a 3gs or 3g. That means that u can not turn up brightness if u haven't first unlock your iPhone because that can happen only with ios 7. A 3g-3gs can only be updated with-until ios 6.1... .1) So go to a place with no day light. or just with low light. If your iPhone hasn't any problem then you will be able to unlock and turn brightness on (Slide to unlock - Settings - Wallpapers and Brightness).
2) Check if the Battery is empty, hold down the Power Button for some seconds until it shows the sign for charging (i think is a battery sign).
3) If it is not happening any of the above then you have to reset your iPhone. Just connect it to your PC or iMAc and open iTunes. There you can see if your phone can be found from iTunes. If it can be found this is good news. It does n't have any damage. So, in iTunes you can find the function so as to reset it. Reset means your data will be erased and the settings will be set to default. So first do a back up and also save your contacts in outlook.
4) IF your IPhone is 4or 4s or 5,5c 5s go as above in a place with no day light or low light and just drag from upwards so as show the external menu of ios 7. There you can see the brightness setting. Good Luck. Hope it helps

My 2 year old granddaughter tuned down the brightness on my Dell latitude e5400 and now I can not see to turn it back up please help

Pressing and holding the function key (abbreviated as "Fn") and pressing the up, or down arrow keys increases and decreases the brightness. You can also press Fn and F1 and F2 or F7 and F8 to increase and decrease the brightness. Immediate results should be seen on the screen making your screen darker or brighter.

How to change the brightness on packard bell notebook. please help me.

Hi,

On most Packard Bell laptops the brightness adjust keys combinations are hold down Fn and press F8 to turn it up and F9 to turn it down.
If this is not the case on yours then look for 2 F keys with small blue circles with blue dots around them, they are the brightness controls.

Alternatively you can go to the control panel look for display options and adjust the brightness from there.

Regards.

Cant turn the brightness down on my asus netbook

You should be able to use the "FN" key and "F5" key, press and hold the "Fn" key then while holding that key, press the "F5" key to decrease the brightness. Use the same(Fn) key and "F6" to increase the brightness.

I cant get the color right. its to red??? any help? i did notice with the back cover off, there are 6 adjustment screws

yes! those are the screen and focus adjustments. 3 for screen, 3 for focus. try this. go in menu....turn down color, brightness, contrast all they way down. you should then have no picture, but in your case a little red. then go to back of tv and turn those 3 screen adjustments all the way down. slowly turn the screens back up until you get barely a picture. because remember, your brightness and contrast is all the way down. the picture should be dim but seeable and with red, green, blue adjustments, make it a black and white picture. when balanced..... turn up color , brightness, contrast in menu. enjoy!
