Vehicular airconditioning systems have issues with leakage of R-134a. Check your pressures while unit is running, low side should read about 70 psig. if much lower than that, purge system and add as prescribed on the labeling. might want to use a leak detecting variety so you can see where you are losing refrigerant.

Turning on heater the AC unit kicks on. When using AC it won't turn off, just runs and runs and runs. Would this be an issue with the thermostat?

find where the thermostat bulb is located
if it is the ceiling or unit , it requires the unit to fill to the roof with cold air before it turns off
as most rv units are not insulated , the unit seldom fills with cold air enough to turn it off
I would get an accredited ac shop to check it out

Water dripping out of rv ac into rv.

Is it a ducted system? If yes, check that there isn't gaps between the divider that separates return air at the front, with forced(cold) air. You can usually use a flashlight and look for gaps, or even (very carefully) feel it blowing cold into the warm air return. If you find some gaps, buy some foil tape, and tape them off good and retry and see if it still happens. Some older units experienced cracks in drip trays that allowed condensation to drip inside as well. Get back to me with year of your RV, and whether it's ducted or non-ducted system, and perhaps I can guide you better on what to look for.

My Duo Threm RV AC wont get cold

this could be the controls for the compressor circuit (thermostat) or the starting components for the compressor, (capacitor) or the compressor itself. Start at the compressor with a call for cooling, verify voltage, if there is voltage a tht compressor terminals, most likely the compressor will need to be replaced...trace back to the source of power if no voltage is at the terminals, and you should locate the culprit...hope this helps..
