Feed dog will not pull thread through
Posted on Jun 27, 2017
Here is a link for a free manual, check to see if the feed dog lever is up in the sewing position, if the feed dog lever is down then try to raise it up. if it will not raise then the machine needs to be check to see what's wrong with the feed dog.

there should be a control to raise or lower the feed dogs, lower to stipple and high to sew normal. it sounds like you may have lowered them

SOURCE: Machine will not feed material
Use a fresh needle and install with flat side facing rear of machine. Is your clutch engaged, after you wound the bobbin? Do you have an owners manual? If not, go online to brother-usa.com and download one for free. It is good to have a copy on hand anyway. Good luck

What on earth are you trying to do? Feed dogs move the fabric and are doing what they are supposed to do. Are you trying to darn? Embroider? Normally there is a plastic plate that you put over the feed dogs to do that or there is a lever to lower them. I could not find a manual for your machine so I can't tell if you have either of those.

try changing the needle--flat side goes to the back of machine
rethread the machine top & bobbin--make sure to use every thread guide
make sure bobbin is wound correctly & inserted correctly in the bobbin case
clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint or loose threads
if you don't have a manual try singer
Go to the singer website
Click on customer support--there will be a drop down menu
Choose instruction manual
In the box type the model number(example 758)

SOURCE: Hello. I own a Singer
i had this problem about a week ago. the jam even messed up my hook timing. i re-timed my machine, cleaned out everything and it still wouldnt work for me. i changed out the needle, tried different fabrics and threads but nothing seemed to work. i finally changed the stitch to a zigzag stitch, and it seemed to work ok. i went through all the different stitches sewing a line about 3 inches long. my sewing machine now works fine. i think when i switched stitches in the past it messed up the needle alignment. (im not an expert or anything, in fact i recently taught myself to sew. i hope this helps you out)
