Hi,

Check the video connections, if you are using an add-on video card please try to remove it and try the built-in one. When the display is okay then you have to replace your video card.

you may/will also need software drivers for all hardware eg: printer,sound card, video card...good to gather BEFORE you upgrade.

Just buy a xp pro cd if you haven't one already and git er done..

The answer is no because your motherboard still only supports 32 bit drivers. Read On.

You could just download the ati package from ati.com but this may depend on the make of your sound and video card can you please find out the make and let me know.

Hi there
Is this problem with windows media player only or with rest players also.
You try to repair your media player using your XP installation CD and then install a good codec pack such as XP codec pack or K-Lite codec pack.These are available for free .
