Question about Indesit WA 115 Front Load Washer
When I press the ON button the green led of the "bubbles-type of washing" 4h button is on,then I press the start button, but nothing happens.. It all started after I opened the door in the last wash when the machine had stopped and thought it was over. The clothes were not leaking water, just a bit wet as they are normally at the end of the wash, but they were smelling bad and the softener was still in it's case. I have unpugged the machine from the power couple of times, opened and closed the door, but still nothing happens. Could anyone help me? I would prefer to avoid calling an expert and fix it myself.. Thanks a lot in advance !
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi there. I have an old model, the indesit WM12. Never counted the flashing light (yours was 10) but my dial started clicking constantly at the drain part. I called Idesit and they told me it was a blockage in the filter.
The filter they speak of it located, on mine, at the front of the machine at the very bottom on the right. It is a black dial about 3 - 4 inches in diameter. Unscrew that anti-clockwise (a real pain because so much water comes out. My wife and I unscrewed it, filled a baking tray with water, screwed it back up, emptied / substituted tray then same all over again - until empty. Though putting it on drain again and again helped at same time). When I pulled out the filter found a 'colour catcher' sheet in it. We used them first time ever the other day. Removed that, gave filter a wee clean and, hey presto, all is working again. Hope that helps. Jim

no easy way to open
disconnect from mains
take top off. feel down the front to where the door lock is and see if you can feel the door peg sticking thro the door interlock. force this with your fingers and with luck the door will open
if can't do this way, break handle off and lever peg with a small screwdriver
you can buy a handle kit complete. fitting this is not difficult - split the door and all will be revealed advise you make a carefull note of where springs go etc before you start stripping it down or take a few fotos if you have a digicam

It is a defectiv controller pcb. I think the eeprom on the controller pcb lost its program (happens often on Indesit machines).
The only solution I know is to change the controller pcb, - not a cheap solution.
I have the same problem with WIDL 106.
