I think there is a condition that you can get back all your invested money back if you want so. The company or the assets where you have invested the various things are suppose to return your invested money back to you but in that case you will not be given any such additional amount as a profit but you can surely have the invested money back.

The only way to find that out is to read threw the contract with the business you have invested with.

I think you have to go through the relative document comprising the various terms and conditions about the investment you have invested in. since you said that you were promised to 20% ROI then the amount should be paid to you anyhow. You should consult to the related authority and try to find out what the problem is.

Sorry to hear that. With whom did you invest? Have you tried contacting that party?

A municipal bond is when the state/local government borrows money through
bonds. People like these types of bonds because they are generally free from
federal income tax. The bond is used for government projects.

ROI is a comparison between how much you invest, the return on your investment and how much you gain on the investment.

Take the potential increase in sales and deduct the cost of the investment. This gives you the net gained.

It's typically expressed as a percentage, so multiple your result by 100.

When most advertisers talk about ROI, they're actually referring to ROAS, or return on ad spend.

It's usually shown as a percentage.

Single interest is calculated on the 'original principle amount' only. Accumulated interest from prior periods is not used in calculations for the following periods.

Simple Interest = p * i * n

Where p = original principal amount (i.e. the amount that was borrowed, loaned, invested) i = interest rage for one period n = the number of periods

so in your example p = 8000 i = 12% (12/100 = 0.12) n = 2

=> simple interest = 8000 * .12 * 2 = 1920 => amount after 2 years = amount invested + simple interest = 8000+1920 = 9920

I hope this helps and good luck! If you have more questions - ask away!
