Question about Samsung SC-D453 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
The problem with this started with it not accepting Tapes by ejecting as it's either asked to playback or record. Then there is the Flip screen that just does not show any picture any longer.

Hi, You usually get an EJECT TAPE when the camcorder has found an internal problem and either the videocassette or the camera itself has developed a problem. In you case, it looks like you tape has a problem. Daniel

SOURCE: wont accept DV tape..
Try removing the battery and the ac adapter for about five minutes or more. The camcorder may be "locked up" and may need to be "rebooted". It worked for me.

if that is on warranty, send it back to the store where you bought it. they will repair that and do something with your camcorder.

SOURCE: Canon zr300 ejects tapes
The solution for this required sending it to Canon factory service. I was very reluctant to do this because I've heard horror stories about Canon service, but I was actually pleasantly surprised. The total cost was only about $65 and the shipping and service turn around time was amazingly fast. I was expecting weeks to go by. If memory serves me right I shipped it and received it back in less than 2 weeks.
This is a known problem with Canon and would be covered under warranty if your time hasn't run out.
