Remove the power plug and battery. Press power for 30seconds to discharge the system. Connect the power plug but not the battery and press power. That may work,

Please check whether the laptop power button may be in the pressed mode.. please release the key. If the key is not released after you pressed the power button, the laptop will power off.
Clean the power on button.
Hope this works..

My wrless is not going to b turn on on windows 7 nd xp plz give me the sedation nd support for it

Critical battery switches off the wireless network card to preserve power. Motherboard seems to log this status but when re-connecting to mains power the card does not receive power again. Uninstalling the driver and getting Windows to re-install automatically upon re-boot does not work.

Charge up the battery whilst the computer is running. You can charge it to a substantial level, say, above 25%. Disconnect mains power so that your laptop is running on battery only. Set your wireless switch to OFF (this is usually to the left position, away from the orange indicator). Now run your computer down to the critical battery level again (perhaps overnight). In the morning when you press the power button, the 'CHARGE' indicator (looks like a lightning bolt) on the front of the laptop should flash quickly, indicating that there is no charge in the battery. Remove the battery from the laptop's underside. Wait a couple of seconds, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Keeping the battery off the laptop, reconnect mains power. Boot up your PC. When at the Windows desktop and all your startup programs have finished loading, switch your wireless on (to the right position). You should now have a blue light, and wireless should once again be working. You can now re-insert your battery. You might have to setup your wireless network connection again as mine seemed to be 'lost', but at least hopefully the main problem is now fixed

Laptop is powered up (green power light is on) but the on button does not respond!and is not switching on

Try the "power drain" procedure to fix your laptop:
  1. disconnect the power cord from the laptop
  2. Remove the battery from the laptop
  3. press and hold the power button on the laptop for about 30 seconds
  4. Insert the battery back in to the laptop
  5. connect the power cord to the laptop
  6. Try to start the laptop normally by briefly pressing the power button.
Good luck

Hi, just got my hands on a Tiny 755C10 notebook which wont switch on. any ideas?

Hello there:
First i would check the power cord to ensure that it is in good working order and check the connection area to see if the conection on the laptop is loose if so there may be a part that is broke in their.
Next i would check to see if the battery is getting charged remove the battery and check the places where the battery connect to to see if they are loose or need cleaning rubbing alcohol works well on this just make sure that it is dry before you try to restart the computer ok? also you can remove the battery and leave the power cord plugged in and see if this will let you get the laptop started if still nothing you may want to consider taking the computer to a repair shop and have them test the power switch to see if it is working or not or see if the motherboard is not working .
One other thing that you can is to find the reset button on the back and use a small object like a toothpick or a paperclip and press in on it and hold it it while pressing the power button, this can sometimes get them going ok?
I hope that his has s been very helpful for you
Best regards michael

Acer 5570 - Power switch is not working

Hi,
Try removing the power supply (from the wall) and the battery pack. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Plug the mains power (from the wall) back in and then press the power button. It should work. Then you can replace your battery pack. Don't know why it works but it has worked for me in the past. Good luck!

Power problem in monitor

This type of problem generally occurs when adoptor stops working and battery goes down. Show first of all check your power adoptor, its working or not, to check-out remove battery and use power adoptor then try to boot. If there is power led on means adoptor is ok otherwise try to reconnect and also check whether the power supply is ok for adoptor. For canfirmation use another adoptor.

If above not working then you can try to these steps:
1. Remove Power connection (Adoptor connection to Laptop).
2. Remove battery.
3. Re-Connect power to laptop.
4. Make switch on.
If above does not work then after step 2 try the followings
A. Press and hold power button for abt 20-30 secs. keep holding on and insert Power connection now if power led get on leave the button. After that it should on.

If all above didn't solve your problem, then its time to take tour of service centre.

Thanks and Good Luck
Iqbal

Try resetting to factory settings - here's how

  • Firstly press the 'menu' button, then the up button above the 'OK' as many times as needed, until you see the top folders are highlighted.

  • Press the right button near the 'OK' until you see the last folder highlighted. You will know this is highlighted when you see the first menu option that says 'Language'. The 3rd one down from that says 'Clear Settings'.

  • Press the down button under the 'OK' until 'Clear Settings' is highlighted, then press the 'OK' button.

  • Scroll up to your choice and press 'OK' to reset your Canon 400D back to default factory settings.
Now try - it could have fixed it. If not, keep turning the dial back and forth, and see if it jogs the camera's operating system. Try switching on and off. You should know, by the way, that the on/off switch doesn't really switch the power off - it tells the internal computer chips that you want the camera to switch off, and then the program closes it down enough to not respond until you either switch it on again, or take the battery out and re-insert it, when it will indicate a red light on the back of the camera to show the battery has made connection, then you switch on again; good luck - if not, phone Canon in your area
