SOURCE: I took apart my eureka

I just did the same thing and had to reassemble also. I recommend turning it upside down. First make sure the belt is wrapped around the motor threads as well as the brush threads, then rest the brush more or less where it goes in the front of the vacuum. The white plastic pieces each have a small hole - you need to insert one end of the brush into each while plastic piece. When you lie the plastic piece flat you should see that the other end fits together with the top of the vacuum. The trickiest part is getting the tiny little wheels into place. Just worry about the 2 in front first. Set them carefully into place in the square holes in the front corners of the machine. Use your finger or a screwdriver to fit the mini axles properly into the grooves. Carefully push the bottom of the vacuum into place until it seems to snap in place (be careful that the wires are tucked in well) and screw in the 4 main screws. Final step is to reattach the smaller black cover to the bottom (back) side - be sure to get that wheel in place before fitting the cover on and then tighten up the final 2 screws.

Pull cord will not retract when assembled. When I took the head apart it works fine.

The question then becomes 'What's stopping the cord from retracting?'
Friction somewhere along the travel of the cord or the winding mechanism is causing this. Find the rubbing point and correct the alignment. Be sure the spring is correctly wound first before re - assembly. There must be spring tension on the winder mechanism to function correctly.
Other than that, check to see if the cord is tangling on itself and preventing the rewind from working.

How to set the points on a 1973 yamaha lt2 100

I do not know what the dwell or correct gap would;d be to get the correct dwell so I cannot help that way. You will need to google it or get the gap and/or dwell from a Yamaha or other such service center. To change point gap normally there is a screw which will loosen and allow the points to be moved (one side of the point assembly) so that with the cam that moves the point assembly apart on the middle of the high point the points can be set with the required gap between the open points to give the required dwell for coil primary saturation.,

Yamaha royal star motorcycle cluch whine and shudder in 4th and 5th gear at any speed

It is slipping. These big yamahas normally have slipping clutches. Mine slips, I've just learned to baby the clutch. Make sure you are in the most comfortable gear for the speed you are running at. Avoid rolling on full power at low speeds in higher gears. It's the nature of these great beasts. Clutch springs are too weak in these bikes, you may consider an aftermarket clutch spring assembly. The "shudder"(intermittent slipping) is caused by glazing. Make sure you are using the right lubricants for your bike, some synthetics can cause problems.

1)Adjust clutch cable correctly, check
2)Pull the clutch assembly apart, if there is little wear then you have "glazed" plates, clean each plate with 600 grit sandpaper and reassemble...get a new clutch spring assembly (weakened spring causes "shudder", slippage, and consequently glazing). Reassemble and adjust correctly (many forums out there with info).
3)Replace the full assembly and adjust correctly at setup. Adjust regularly....I check adjustment about every 300-500 miles.
4)Pay a shop to do these things for you.

I took apart the rear hub on my 2007 ttr 90 and got new parts and now they go back in but when they are in it is wider then the frame so i can't bolt it back in place

Thank you for the inquiry.
There is both a collar and a spacer on either side of the wheel that may be interchanged causing this interference. One way it fits, the other way it won't. If you replaced the brake shoes check to make sure they are correctly seated against the cam and the pivot pin. If not they may projecting far enough out that they are adding space making the assembly wider. Please check the assembly drawing below at Yamaha's Parts Link for installation.

Shuttle alignment and assembly

The shuttle/race/bobbin system shouldn't really be taken apart by the average user. Unfortunately, your chances of ever getting it back together properly so the machine will sew (this is the timing of the machine) are very slim. You'll need to take it to a sewing machine technician. I would recommend an authorized Pfaff tech as they'll be sure to have the proper tools to do this correctly - won't be inexpensive but will be worth it. Most "neighborhood sewing machine repair folks" don't have experience on computer machines. Resetting timing on a computer machine isn't the same as the old mechanicals and requires some expertise.
