SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I got a new transonic

I have the same problem but the buzz is continuous. After a lot of research I think it maybe because the freeview receiver isn't grounded. ie it only has a two pronged power cord instead of the third which is ground. Thats my theory anyway. Hope you find a solution for the both of us.

To select the inputs to this TV, you should have a remote control. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit these sites http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/
http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/
http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/
If you see these sites by "MOSAIC" or "Magazine" view will make surf easier. Or type in the brand name of your device in the search box, and press "Enter".
Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.

My techwood freeview box was working i feel aaleep n woke to a black screen & my freeview box appears to be atuck in standby mode. Can you help please?

Hi Yvonne
"FreeView"
You must be in Australia. Like me.
I would assume that you have pulled the power out & reset the unit. I don't have the freeview box but they can be similar to other set top boxes.
Does the user manual indicate that holding down certain buttons on startup will cause a reset?
Some of these units have an internal backup battery to keep your parameters in memory. Often not user accessible.
But in emergency, the battery (if you find it) can be given a quick short with a jumper wire to reset it.
Otherwise You might need a tech to look at it or swap it out
Good Luck

Hi,need the code for my transonic freeview box twh s1

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Type in the brand name only of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and the Search will start at once as you type in, and will show you all the related posts. It will make surf easy.

Freeview box

After scanning the box should save the channel automatically. If the box does not save the preset after scanning channels, then it is probably faulty.
Some box has a pinhole reset button at the back, if you have this reset button keep it pressed with a pencil for 10 seconds to reset the freeview box.
If it does not work, the nbox is probably faulty.

With freeview you only pay for few scrambled channels, the most of them are free and do not need any additional fee.

Freeview is not available in all areas, check that you have freeview in your location, and that aerial is well connected to the box, otherwise not finding channels is normal.
