a340, circa 2003? wow, old...Goodwill has them way newer why use this old dog ?
why post lacking what OS this is?
3com drivers, dead. about year 2000 dead, 17 years dead.
Windows 7 does not support many old chips.
nor does 10. (worse)
if motivated to make NIC work
why not just buy a new NIC card from say newegg
or is this restore, a go back to windows 95,
back in the hey day of 3com, HP owns 3com now
but the those products all died back 17 long years ago
3com NICs 3C905 card, or the like?
I can run the PCI scanner on that PC
its a free program and get the
MFG code and device code. telling what chips both are.
nic and on board.
go here, find what matches your unstated os
buy it and it works.
PCI card, Rosewell.? $9 says comes with CD
says does all OS , see that?
ever use a PCI scanner to ID that on board chip
hell both .
if 9bucks is too much, only this scanner can tell you whats there in hardware.
