When you first setup your bank account, you would have entered your bank account details. I am not sure if this is same process as they do with credit cards, but they deposit a very small amount money to your account and then withdaw that same amount. Then you are asked to confirm this amount in order to activate your account. This then proves that you are the account holder.

Your primary account with Paypal is always a credit card and the seconday account can be another credit card or a bank account.

When did it happens? You must act fast. Contact rspears mail immediately do not accept the payment/transaction from paypal. And also request to sent back/cancel the transaction. Contact paypal to cancel that transaction which wrongly sent. Paypal will help you.

Just thought Id let you know that I have had the same problem. I have just filed a complaint with paypal and started a dispute.
Don't know whether this was a reputable site or not but if we all put a dispute in we may get our money back.

Login to paypal and make sure the transaction is completed. If so, you could dispute the transaction. The receiver would have the opportunity to correct the situation through dispute resolution.

Log onto www.paypal.com and see your transaction details for your account.
You can open a disputeA buyer asks for a seller's help in resolving an issue with a transaction. in the Resolution CentreLocated in My Account, the PayPal resource for resolving issues between buyers and sellers. to contact a seller directly and resolveA buyer and seller come to an agreement and close the case, or PayPal comes to a decision and closes the case. a problematic transaction. You have 45 days from the payment date to open a dispute. Common reasons for opening a dispute include:
  • You paid for an item but haven't received it and the seller is uncooperative or unresponsive
  • You received an item that was significantly-not-as-described (SNAD).
Click the Dispute a Transaction button in the Resolution Centre to open a dispute. Then, provide more information about the issue and send a message to the seller.
Transactions older than 45 days cannot be disputed but should still be reported. PayPal tracks seller performance trends in the event we need to take action to protect other buyers.

Paypal problem I purchased CB power supply today and paid with my card but before I could complete the ID number you sent to me by email the computer went down


You did not complete the purchase and your paypal charge did not go through. Just do the transaction all over again. To check your status with PayPal go on line and look at your account. The other thing that should have occurred when a Transaction is Complete via PayPal is your confirmation from PayPal that the Purchase was pending or complete.

I did not get really your question. Do you want to dispute? if that the case go to your paypal then list all the transaction history you made. You will definitely see the transaction you want to dispute. Then just click details. Copy the transaction ID. Make sure to get only the numbers after #. Then Click resolution center. Then Click Dispute Transaction button. Then paste the transaction ID numbers on the box shown. Continue from there. Please note dispute can be only made not later than 45 days since the transaction was made.

I'm a PayPal user too and I had the same question the first time I made a transaction with them, it's best if you check your email Inbox and allow 24-48 hours, they will send an update on your transaction and it's a good thing that you have your order number you can alway check your transaction status once you log in PayPal.com.

Decided not to accept goods purchased, want the payment paid back into my paypal account, what is the process.


Products that have arrive at the customers possion would have prior aggreements from retailer or paypay sites. Usually the paypal allows the versalitity to transact either sending or receiving financial values. paypal as an online method of transaction is flexible. Second,, the retailer from which transaction was arrangmed usually once aggreed to restatablish transactions either as malfucntion products requiring returns or aggreement arragment least satisfactory as expected makes another processes achievable. For example, conacting the retailer of the product to verify whether returns for refunds is likely should become convenient to retransact with paypay. In this situation, the customer would be receiving finances back from an already establsihed agreement. Contact the retailer to ascertain the expectation arrangments to retunring products for refunds. Also required in the retransaction process to determining whether the retailer chooses to transact via paypal at refunds.

A Several things can contribute to PayPal receiving duplicate authorizations for a single transaction. The main reason is the merchant submits the card number more than once. The merchant can run the card number again if they receive a message that indicates no response. This happens when a response is given but the merchant doesn't receive it within the allotted time frame.

You may see a duplicate transaction when a merchant sends in the final charge with information different from the original preauthorized charge. This results in a pending authorization and a completed transaction from the same merchant.

The duplicate authorization expires on the fifth day after the charge. A credit added back to your PayPal account balance.
