Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

SOURCE: compatability?

i also tried the keyboard technique after the camera wouldn't mount and it worked for me. Not very convenient given the fact thats its USB 1 so it's slower. But at least it works this way! I have an iMac G5 and had set the camera to Pictbridge.

SOURCE: computer does not acknowledge the camera when connected via usb

in that case try to use other usb cable, the n plug it directly to the usb port of your motherboard at the back of your cpu casing, try to use all the port, if they did not work, now you can use now a card reader, put your memory card to the card reader then plug it on the mothernoard usb port

SOURCE: Sony NEX-3 - I can't

Hi there, If you haven't already done so... Try connecting to a different USB port, or on a different computer. I noticed on my brothers computer, that when I use one USB port - doesn't work, but the other one does (probably something faulty inside on one of them). Also can try connecting using another different cord...
Hope you can get connected... ****.

How do I connect this mouse to my computer?

the mouse is wireless. If you bought the mouse from a store it should have came with a dock, that connects via USB to your PC/Laptop etc.. The dock will be plug and play, which means as soon as you plug it into your PC it will pick-up the device and automatically begin to install the drivers for the device.

Once you have plug the usb dock in, and it has installed the drivers. Aslong as the mice has a charge it will be ready for use.

Getting error message software not compatible with IPod

This compatibility issue is caused by the same change with the Apple Dock Connecter introduced with the iPhone 3G. Inside the iPod / iPhone Dock Connecter are 30 metal pins. Previous iPods and iPhones allowed for charging either over pins reserved for the USB connection or pins reserved for the obsolete Firewire connection.
While Apple apparently announced this upcoming change to manufactures of “Made for iPod” accessories back in 2005, Apple only formerly discontinued Firewire charging support with the most recent iPods. New iPods and iPhones can only charge via the USB pin.
As such, there is no way that a software update can fix this issue in the future; this is truly a modification in iPod hardware.
