The car fires on all four as it should. I've taken off the throttle body and two attached sensors. Cleaned all and replaced. Now the car runs smooth in all gears and idles in park. Now when the A/C is turned on, the car shudders and stalls. The car fires on all four as it should. I've taken off the throttle body and two attached sensors. Cleaned all and replaced. If it ran beautiful I don't see why you installed CPS. ???
The CPS and CAS should only be replaced if the car is stalling or shorting out. I just changed the CAS on my 95 Talon but only because it was cutting off like I turned the key off.
If the only thing you did was change the CPS then it's not lined up right. Every car is different but the CPS usually has to be aligned.
A broken vacuum line will affect idling and performance. The plastic ones break and the rubber ones split or fall off. A vacuum gauge is a cheap tool that will tell you a lot about your car.
Try pulling the engine coolant temp sensor, They often crack not sure
why but the ceramic tip cracks makes the car hard to start, the car's
idle may race while shifting gears, and often smokes. The sensor is on
the right side of the engine when looking at it on the head. Easy to
change and get too
