Question about Asko Washing Machines
The drum rotates back and forth at the beginning of the spin cycle, but when it switches to speed up there is a metallic tink sound, the drum jerks then stops rotating altogether. F6 fault code comes up.
This is a motor fault issue. As I don't know your ability in repairing or what tools you possess. Simple solution: other then have a repairman do this, the motor has something causing a fault. The vast majority of times in an asko because the motors spin at high speeds then most others is that the brushes wear out. So they most likely need a repair. Turn off machine, remove motor replace brushes. There other possibilities such as electrical problems but I reckon brushes are the problem, could cost $60 for the pair and takes maybe an hour or two depending the skill of the person attempting. This is not complex just dirty I do not endorse repairing any appliance without proper experience in repairing appliances. This is only informative.

SOURCE: Washer not completing cycle
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON A 4 MONTH OLD MACHINE AND I CALLED A SERVICE PERSON. HE SAID THAT I CAN THROW IT AWAY. THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT NOBODY CAN FIX.

SOURCE: Drum will not rotate
im confused as to why you think no drum rotation would be caused by bearings. typically worn bearings would cause noisy spin. only if bearings were completely seized would that cause no drum rotation. can you rotate drum by hand? if so bearings are not seized. can you hear motor rotate when you select spin? if not, then likely cause is motor brushes. do these simple tests and get back to me if you want. and bearings are quite difficult to replace on this machine

SOURCE: grinding noise when drum rotates
may be a foreign object trapped in between the inner and outer tub. Major Disassembly required to split the outer tub. May also be the rear bearing in which case back half will have to be replaced.

The F33 error code indicates a pump drive system error. If the pump ohms out correctly & the harness is secure I recommend replacing the CCU (central control unit).
Please see the following image provided for instructions.
Remember to disconnect power to the washer before attempting access.

F28 is a serial bus error from the CCU (Central Control Unit) to the MCU (Motor Control Unit).
All you need is some Electronics contact cleaner spray and a 1/4 inch socket to remove the top of the machine and the back of the machine.
The CCU is the computer looking box at the top front right hand corner.
Find connector M13, (has red marking on it and only 3 wires) disconnect it by pushing the retainer tab back and pulling gently on the connector.
Spray the contacts of the connector and computer with connector cleaner.
Then re-assemble connector.
The MCU is in the back lower left corner.
Find the connector with 3 wires and red mark, and remove this connector in the same way you did the other, spray it and re-install.
Put the back and top back on.
