It shouldnt have a pilot light
there is a hot surface igniter under the pan below the racks
two screws in the back then lift from back (tabs in front)
is the oven not working or lighting?

I want to light the pilot light for the oven

How old is the stove-- for most ovens these days have electric Glow Ignitors-
Are you sure yours has a gas pilot?

If so-- there has to be a way of pushing in a 'pilot' button, to get the gas to start,
and there has to be a hole or area you can get to the gas burner/pilot, with a match, at the time you are pushing in on the Pilot lite

Let us know what you find--

Oven wont light, pilot is lite but the burners wont ignight

Bakers Pride used several different safety valves over the years. If your oven has a pilot valve that has a beige know that you hold in and turn to light the pilot, then after it lights you need to turn the beige know another half round to the "on" setting. If you push in a red button to light the pilot, it may not be getting enough heat on the thermocouple where the pilot flame should be heating it up. Be sure the main gas valve on the front of the oven is turned to the on position also. On some models the pilot will light with the main gas valve in the off position. If you look at the pilot flame while it is burning, make sure that it is hitting the pencil sized thermopile enough to make it glow red. If not bend it slightly to improve the heating.

Can't get pilot light to stay lite in oven

make sure the thermocouple is positioned above pilot light this part needs to be heated up by the pilot light to keep gas going to the pilot light. if the thermocouple is positioned above pilot light and it doesn't stay light, replace thermocouple.

Would help if you list the model#, but would guess it is your igniter. You can look up the parts digram at SearsPartsDirect.com .Will give you a idea of where it is located ,what the part looks like, and what other parts will have to be removed to get to it.I assume that it doesn't have a pilot light.

Burners won't light - Just clicks when set to light

You have an ignitor that is probably bad. And since you're working with gas, just be careful. You do have a pilot light that's electronic that usually allows the burners to ignite. Give us a call and we will be happy ro ship the ignitor to you. Hope this helps! Ella
