How to remove fb460v engine

the Kawasaki engine removes pretty straight forward (bolts out , cable off, wires unhooked, etc) , the only difficult part is removing a well worn in power take/off clutch from its shaft , this will take some care if you need to reinstall it

but I will say unless its a total loss (cracked) ive rebuilt enough of them while still in the tractor , the only part you cant replace doing it that way is the bottom oil seal and the crank shaft (its stuck into that clutch I was telling you about )

Kawasaki fb460v overcharging battery???

It sounds like the voltage regulator is bad. It may be located on the blower housing which covers the flywheel. Should have a large plastic plug connecting to it. If you don't see anything like this then give me the engine spec number so I can look it up. It would be something like "AS09" and should be located where the engine model and serial numbers are.

I have a kawasaki engine fb460v-cs00 in my John Deere Riding Mower and I am trying to find a diagram for the gas tank, lines and connectors. Where can i find that info?

You can get this information at any John Deere dealership or at your public library. I don't really understand your problem. All fuel tanks have a port on their bottom side where a fuel line is attached that runs directly to your carburator, with possibly a filter in between.I hope this will make things a little easier for you. GOOD LUCK.

My mower has a kawasaki fb460v and it just quit while mowing and I can't restart. I've replaced the spark plug and air filter and I've sprayed started fluid in the carb, without a hint of a hit. I used...

There are three reasons for a mower to stop while running.
1. Out of gas.
2. You hit something with the blade and either snapped the pin or bent the shaft.
3. Out of oil, and the engine seized.
I'm assuming it wasn't #1.
#3 means buy a new mower.
#2 can be fixed if it was the pin and not the shaft.
