Hi, especially during small loads our washer stops as though its off balance. It makes loud noises and then stops. Clothes are then left full of soap and water. Any advice for small loads?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I mostly answer front load problems but ' out of balance' is a common problem with both!
So- I don't know your particular machine but the initial cure is the same.
It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine, even when empty, has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly ;-0)

Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.
This should cure ALL sizes of loads!
If this has not cured the problem it is possible that the internal suspension is malfunctioning.

Good luck,

John C

Cant find heater core 1989 dodge caravan , need to see if it is not working. any advice?

Your heater core is in your dash, and yes, its a pain to get to. My dad and I did my grandma's in the same minivan, and we ended up taking out the front seat just to give us extra work room. Usually if your heater core is bad, you will have a big wetspot in the passenger side floor board. The only thing that really can go wrong with a heater core is it leaks, thus the wet spot.

What tools do i need to replace a fuel pump on a 2005 dodge grand caravan 3.3 engine vin R

Just a few things people who work on cars should have. Jackstands, floor jack.... Before you do this yourself. Go into a auto parts store, AZ has manuals already open to look at, or spend the $20 to buy the book . IT pays for it self in just one job & there pictures of the fuel pump job. Theres a few special things about taking the gas tank out to get to the fuel pump. This is good advice.

Front and rear floor wet in Dodge Caravan after driving in rain.

on the floor of your Van, you have drain plugs. One of these could have come loose, or is in need of repair. If you can look under your van in these areas you may find a round rubber plug. Check them and make sure they are tight. This may help.

Convertible rear window separated from fabric top

This problem is very common and is known as delamination.
Use Urethane adhesive to reglue the window.
This same adhesive is used to install windshields.
The hard part will be to hold the window in place till the Urethane cures.
Prepare for that in advance.

HOW TO REMOVE 2000 DODGE CARAVAN REAR SEAT

There are 2 handles on the back of the seat where it attaches to the floor. If you hold the button on the handle and push it down it should release the seat from the floor. After this it just rolls out the back. Same for the middle seat if you need to remove it.
