SOURCE: Flashing Blue Light
I have found that if I turn off the machine for a few seconds and turn it back on, the burner seems to re-energize strongly and the water heats and a few minutes later, it seems as good as new. I know that this is not the the technical solution to the true underlying problem, but it keeps my old machine in the game.

Mine does this all the time. When it does, I tap the top of the machine and the coffee comes out. I don't know if it will work for you, but it works every time for me. It's like there's a small clog or something.

This should be a relatively simple solution. 1. Ensure that water is in the tank and filled to the top. 2. Raise the lid of the machine with the silver handle and insert a K Cup or just raise and close for hot water. 3. Blue light should now be flashing to indicate the machine is ready for use.

IF THIS IS AN OLD COFFEE MAKER...SORRY TO SAY, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR HEATING ELEMENT WENT OUT?
YOU CAN ALSO CHECK AND MAKE SURE YOUR COFFEE MAKER ISN'T SET ON A PROGRAM TIMER. TRY SETTING YOUR PROGRAM TIMER TO THE SAME TIME YOU ARE WANTING TO BREW....BUT, MORE THAN LIKELY YOUR HEATING ELEMENT WENT OUT!
HOPE THIS HELPS!
