SOURCE: Drain pump on 3250 runs

This could mean there is either a leak somewhere inside the unit or the float switch is triggering incorrectly if the dishwasher is empty of any water.

Do you have any of the lights on the panel flashing?

WHY DOES THE MOTOR ON MY SAMSUNG DISHWASHER RUN ALL THE TIME AND THE LIGHT ABOVE HEAVY BLINK?

Yes, you've got a leakage error, which means water has leaked down into the base of the dishwasher. The drain pump runs all the time, trying to get all the water out, but the drain pump can't get to the water down in the base. (Those North Korean engineers/designers aren't too bright.) You'll have to pull the dishwasher out, pull off the side panels, and dry up all the water before that drain pump will stop running. But you still have the problem of figuring out where the leak came from and fixing the problem before you can use the dishwasher. The most common source of leakage in a Samsung DW is the drain pump and/or drain hose.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I see you have already attacked the filter! Were you able to test the motor in motion as well as checking if it was free? If not here are the last 2 paragraphs of my 'check drain filter and drain pump motor' guidance notes ;-0)
(REMOVE POWER)
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Good luck!

1999 cadillac will not start, plugs are dry

yes a fuel pump can give out at any time to check put your head by the gas tank and have someone turn the key if you hear a buzzing from the tank then you know it works. if you here nothing its bad and will have to drop the gas tank to replace it.

Clean pump

sometimes a sock or something small gets sucked into the pump that pumps out the water on some brands of washers (depending which washer you have) take the back off the back of the washer (after unpluging and turning off the water feeds) locate where the pump is and look to see if theres something inside the tube with a pair of pliers you can take the clamp off and exstract the blockage and replace the hose + clamp and after cleaning up the water try to run the washer again if things work finsh pulling the washer back together

Maytag washer leaks water from bottom

I would remove the hoses from the pump and use a flashlight to look into the suction port. Check for anything clogging the pump (like the occasional stray sock) and check the pump impeller. Make sure there are no blades missing or broken and that the impeller will spin freely. If any blades are broken/missing or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully it is just a clogged pump or jammed impeller. If you can find no fault with the pump, then it could be the tub seal, but I would check the pump first. Very sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Maytag Performa will not drain

If this is a direct drive washer (no belts) you have a bad water pump or a sock has gotten sucked in to stop it up. get under it look for two hoses going to a white looking valve. If you pull the hoses look out for all the water to flood out so be preped. Pull the pump out and ck for sock or fuzz in it then try to turn to trun by hand if its hard its bad. repost if need more help.

Water won't pump

yes,,, it is the water fill valve,, when it started to go bad the noises where from the pump, then it got quite now it is gone,, make sure you turn off the water supply before removing the unit,, only reason I am saying this is that I have even seen plumbers not turn off the water supply because they don't have hater goning thru and forget that why they are taking it out lol

Heat Pump was repaired and then went out again

Repairman fixed a wire? sounds a little vague. If the outside coil is covered with ice, then it may be the board. Most defrost boards have a test terminal on them. Touch something to the test posts and see if the reversing valve switches on and the unit starts defrosting. If nothing happens, then its the board. There could be much more things causing it not to work, but I need more info.
