You can turn up the bass setting on your radio, or install an amplifier for the bass speakers.

My stock stereo speakers go in and out. most of the time lately the speakers are real low and your have to turn up the volume almost to max to hear them decently. and then the bass and mid isn't working....

My speakers in my 2003 Silverado started to fail at about 5 years old. I just replaced them with all new speakers. They would come and go erratically and sounded horrible.

Volume is really low on my HP ProBook 4440s. how can I fix it?

Are you shure all volume controls are set on max? Bass / treble or some kind of equalizer or enhancer turned on? If it's still too low, use a Boss Porta Pro headset, buy external speakers or connect to a stereo system.

How to mount a bandpass sub

usually you will get the best sound with the box mounted approximately 3" away from rear of trunk with speaker facing toward the rear of trunk if it is a single speaker enclosure you want to do the same just offset it to one side of the trunk corners always amplify sound however just so you know 10's are not really made for low bass they usually have more of a hard hitting pound instead of a low rumble usually 12's will give you the low bass better and it also depends on what kind of box a vented box would be best for low bass sealed box gives you tighter bass but you need more power ported is good for low bass but gets sloppy when loud and a bandpass is used for loud hard hitting bass

Amp went into protect, but front speakers sound distorted too

If the amp still goes into protect mode, the easiest thing to do is disconnect the RCA cables from the amp and see if still goes into protect mode (after turning off/on). If it does, the issue lies in the amp or the wiring to/from the amp (most likely case). Check to make sure no speaker wires came loose and touched +12V or ground (car body). From the sound of it, my guess is something internal to the amp died and will need repair.

Dual voice coil speakers

best way to do this to preserve your amp and speaker is to wire the speaker Voice coils in series.

VC1 = Voice coil 1

AMP + to VC1 +
VC1 - to VC2 +
VC2 - to Amp -

Set you amps bass gain down very low. Crank up the volume with a bass test audio track. Turn the switch to LPF or Low pass filter. Adjust a LPF to about 60 hz Adjust the bass gain up until your Sub begins to sound sitorted or choppy. Then tune the bass gain just below where it distorts. Then you are set.

Low volume bass

You need to look got the amp for the sub if there is not one there is notting you can do. If there is one then just turn up the gain on the amp.
If not there are some times the gain is on the radio in a setting and the only way to find that is to look in the user manuil.
