I think I have one for you....
1. Go to Control Panel ---> Sounds and Audio Devices.
2. Click on the Audio tab.
3. In Sound Playback, under Default device select the 'SPDIF Interface' or Digital option.
4. You should be able to hear the sound from TV.

try ur on screen keyboard.

if any keyboard buttons are broke u can still use the functions with the on screen keyboard.
on one of my laptops the enter and del keys dont work so I use the on screen keyboard when I need the function of those keys.
