Press the cc button on your remote control. You want cc to be off. Play around with the cc button to become comfortable. Press it over and over again. Observed that a different closed captioning option appears on your screen each time you press the cc button. Now press cc and when it says cc off do not press the button anymore.

How many times do this standby light blinks at one time switch On? Count it carefully. These are called blinking codes, and from the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. If you wish to get more details about these blinking codes, check this link.http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

No sound on my sharp aquos lc-45gd4u 45 in

Assuming you are using the internal speakers, check and make sure you have the audio enabled. Some TV sets have a option to turn off the internal speakers. Also make sure mute isn't turned on. If you are using external audio setup, double check your connections.

I ger AMP error ("Pull out AC cable, check your connection) all the time in all inputs of a new 46" Sharp AQUOS LC-46D85U 1080p 120Hz

I had the same problem with a Sharp Aquos 40". Sound just for a second and the message all the time in the middle of the screen, no more sound.
I opened the TV and found a speaker cable (a black one) with the PVC isolation broken and the wire in contact with the chassis. I just isolated it, the sound came back and no more error message.

Screen Goes Blank for about 5 seconds

A friend and I both have the LC-32D64U Aquos sets with the same problem. Black screen for a few seconds with no video or sound. They came with firmware version S0804171.

Installing (reverting?) to firmware S0801101 on Sharp's website resolved these issues. Perhaps you need to update/switch firmware versions, especially if hardware replacement did not resolve the issue.
