You have probably knocked off or stretched the drive belt, the drive pulleys or or the linkages off the transmission lever.

If you cant engauge the tranny with the key in, it may be a neutral safety switch or fuse. Check a manual for the Fuse and relay boxes

Just had a/c motor put on an belt now transmission wont engauage

check the wiring for a dislodged wiring connector to the gear box. It will be that the torque converter clutch is not working from a lack of communication with the CPU and the TCM

My 1992 Toyota Camry won't shift into gear after I changed out the clutch, how do you synchronize the gear shift with the transmission?

First, are you certain that you installed the clutch and throw-out bearing correctly? This may take some trial and error - if you replaced the clutch, you know your way around the transmission. The shifter should have two rods/levers going to two attaching points on the transmission. Disconnect these linkage rods from the transmission. Manually move the connecting points and test by "bumping" the starter until you're sure the transmission is in Neutral. Verify that the stick shift in in the Neutral position, and re-connect the linkage rods. If all goes well, you should now be able to move the shifter through the gears. Good luck

Has hard clund when put in gear in any direction and when i hit bumps i can hear it to

You might have a bad ujoint, with the car in neutral get underneath it and turn the drive shaft back and forth. If it's not totally in sync with the yolks you might have a bad ujoint. You might also have a bad bushing in your rear suspension. Also motor mounts and transmission problems aren't ruled out. Good luck.

1998 saturn SL2 automatic-the transmission will "jump into neutral" when I hit a bump, also the speedometer will work on and off when driving according to the bumps in the road....

check the connections under the vehicle at the transmission may be loose and needs adjustment or tightening also check the wiring and cables in area may be rubbing against [or loose] shifter linkage

Sounds like the lockup torque converter has failed. Repair requires trans removal and possible rebuild if converter has contaminated unit. Have a trans shop verify!!

Vechile turns off while driving

Does it happen to occur when you maybe hit a bump? It sounds so much like a previous car I worked on he hs so many keys on the ring that when he hit a bump the weight of all the keys pulled on the switch and shut it off the only other way to find this is start the truck and start to shake wiring harnesses under the dash and under the hood it sounds like a loose connection in the primary ignition circuit
Please rate this post if it is helpful to you and contact me at fixincars@yahoo.com if I can be of any further help in this matter
