Belkin F5L152 keyboard cuts out.

My Belkin F5L152 keyboard/case for iPad Air. No trouble pairing, no trouble connecting, but the letter keys don't register. It did work for a short time out of the box. iPad or Belkin problem. Note: Belkin has the worst tech support I have found anywhere.

Thanks for the help. I found out how to re-boot the iPad Air. On a hot boot, press and hold the "start" button for 5 seconds or so. This solved my problem. Along the way, which may help someone else, I learned that a cold boot can be done by press/hold "start" and "home" keys. This needs to be done for almost 20 seconds, and you may have to do it more than once. Take heart, it works. IJN.

Cannot get bluetooth keyboard to connect

Make sure the keyboard does not have a pairing relationship with another device in the room.

If there are any devices listed on the iPad, in Bluetooth settings, tap 'I' and forget Device.

Place the keyboard in pairing mode with a 5 second depress on power from the 'off' or no power state.

Type the keys on the keyboard that the iPad wants for the pair.
