Testimonial: "I have opened the Device Manager and it shows 4 NVIDIA high definition audios and 1 Realtek hight definition. I right clicked each on in turn and tried to update the driver for each each one but they shows that the latest drivers are installed. I also forgot to mention that the installation disk would not load when I fitted the card but Microsoft installed the latest driver anyway."

SOURCE: nvidia geforce 9500 gt gpu work on asus p5n73-am

Hi!

Nahh...you can use that gpu with that mobo, but i wouldent recomend it. The GPU - Requires NVIDIA HybridPower™- enabled motherboard, and that mobo dosent have that. It might work but you cant use the full power of that gpu on that mobo. And beside that, that gpu is bigger then the mobo itself
I sugest you to buy another mobo, the gpu you looking at is a good one but your mobo isent that good.

Here is the spec for the GPU:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9500gt_us.html

And here are the spec for that mobo:
http://shopping.msn.com/specs/asus-p5n73-am-motherboard-micro-atx-geforce-7050/itemid1060345734/?itemtext=itemname:asus-p5n73-am-motherboard-micro-atx-geforce-7050&fulldesc=1

Good luck

Will nvidia geforce 210 1gb graphics card work on mercury p4vm800m7 motherboard???

No. The motherboard only supports up to AGP-8X based video cards and the GeForce 210 is a PCIe 2.0. The slots are completely different. There is no slot on the board that will fit that video card.

This video card is good only for office if You need card for multimedia and undemanding games I suggest you:
XFX R7-240A-CLF2 Radeon R7 240 2GB 128-Bit DDR3 Low Profile Ready Video Card. For a little more money offers much better performance, it is equally quiet and has a much better memory bandwidth.

No sound after fitting a new graphics card

A suggestion.. look in Device Manager for conflicts. Some sound cards use interrupt #5, e.g., and the graphics card might try to share that interrupt. If the properties of either device includes a Resources tab, change the interrupt as a test.

Scaleo p fitted new graphics card asus geforce 210 wont start up

Hi , i suggest try running the driver setup in "custom mode" checking option : clean install , to remove previous possibly corrupt installed settings
Also access BIOS setup and change "first seek peg" or some such, so BIOS communicates to Windows to first seek video device expansion card rather than onboard
(ps , if changed from onboard to expansion card ensure the onboard control applet for onboard video has been uninstalled via add/remove)

Hi i have en210 512 ddr2 card i install the card but soundcard cannot work

I'm assuming you have the card installed properly, have run your installation cd and, as you're good as far as video. I don't know what system you have and there appears to be support for Win XP, Vista, and Windows 7 through Asus. This particular card does not provide sound. You will have to use on board sound or, get a sound card. It is a low profile card so, you may be able to install a sound card in your PCIe slot(internal) if you have room or, you could go with a USB sound card(external).

Hello there, I am the Expert that will be helping you today. My name is damnor01.

Welcome to Fixya.
Heat is an important factor. Your computer system is getting too hot, the culprit is more than likely the Central Processing Unit.

Clean your computer of all dust pay attention to the CPU cooler and install some fans in your computer system.

120mm fans are quieter than 80mm fans and they provide greater airflow. Install the biggest your chassis can support.

Also see my published guide entitled How to install Graphics Drivers, Nvidia and AMD Radeon!!! as you may need to install the latest drivers for your graphics card.

You may also want to scan your computer for viruses as they are known to overload a computer system bringing it to it's knees.

Fixya offers such services!

Thanking kindly
damnor01
