This is called Dual sim phone. Go to settings and make sure that the Dual Sim is enable. Whe a phone state "Insert Sim" after inserting the sim card, it is most probably that you had inserted the sim the wrong way, so that the gold connectors is not connecting with the phone. Invert the sim card and try. If the problem persist, try the other sim slot.
Go into settings and select dual sim and select sim only 1 or 2 depending which slot your sim is in. Or deselect and reselect. Is sim located in phone right way?
It should just work - about the only thing I can think of is that there is an option under settings that controls the dual SIM mode, and that should be set to "Dual SIM open".
Make sure the sim cards are inseted properly, SIM 2 wich is the bottom slot the gold chip has to fase up, (yoe see it when you insert it) sim 1 wich is the top, the gold chip faces away from you, so basically with both sims in the chips face each other. also make sure both sim slots are turned on in your phone settings.Settings => Dual SIM settings => Choose the proper SIM setup => OK in this case you would select Dual SIM open then OK. You shouldnt have to do anything to have it call. Do you have you sim card insered correctly? do you have dual sim card option and if so make sure your card is not in slot tw and you are using sim 1 option. On the dual sim card phones SIM 2 is placed upside down against the circuit board, and SIM 1 slot is facing correctly chip is on down side, and slightly elevated off the circuit. on your front display you should see AT&T and the SIM card location it is in. You do however have to set it up to receive picture text and internet acess. I can hep you with that also
