Printer is busy epson WF-2530 - Dell 924 All-in-One InkJet Printer

I have the same thing. I suspect they have released a messed up Firmware :-(
I am trying to find a key combination at startup to see if that does something, the printer is otherwise completely unresponsive.

Andrew, what are you trying to do?

I can only assume that the printer is not new as otherwise, you would have had an installation CD in the package. So, on that basis (or if the CD has been mislaid?) go to the Epson website http://www.epson.com and select the area in the World where you live. For example, if you live in the USA, here is the link: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Overview&oid=209709 and you will see listed all the Drivers and other software available for your specific printer. Note that you MUST go first to the area in the World where you live as Drivers and other software can be country specific. Download and install - noting the printer should be attached by a USB cable to your computer but only switched ON when so instructed onscreen. Epson's installation instructions and manuals are easy to follow and directly guide the user through all the stages required. Make sure you have some paper in the printer ready to print a test page AND do go through the Alignment procedure as that is important to ensure the registration of the colours is accurate.
