Question about Behringer XENYX XL1600 Live Mixer

Open Question

Mixer main inlet s/c

Following lighting discharge near home, mixer is now s/c across the main inlet socket - keeps blowing all fuses immediately. No sign of burning or damage inside. Suspect psu but would like advice before venturing in with soldering iron - have no schematic at all.

How to reset the fuse if there is one?

Have an electrician test the socket that the mixer plugs in to and see if there is electricity there. You might also plug in something else to test it yourself. If the socket its good, your mixer is "broken".
If the socket is dead, you need to reset the breaker, or replace it.
God bless your efforts.

One side of my peavey xr86000 power mixer blew a fusework

Any unit that blows fuses needs to be serviced. Do not keep putting in fuses only for them to be blown again. Each time you put in a fuse and it blows, it will create more damage to the amplifier.

My Fender LX1506 powered mixer keep blowing the fuse as soon as i turn it on what is the problem?

There is a direct short somewhere. Is the fuse the right size amps? volts? You dont want to put an dc fuse in an ac power amp. Double check your fuses.

JennAir Attrezzi dead, no light, no nothing. Was working. What do I need to do?

Replace the fuse located below the plug inlet on the mixer, you have to remove the outer panel to access it. I did the same thing, it stopped working while I was mixing dough for bread, replaced it, good as new.

Dropped mixer about 400 mm from speaker to floorsound comes up to headphones output but not to main mix socket

Open unit. 1. Look for cables knocked off. 2. Using bright light look for circuit board cracks and broken solder. 3. Look for broken pots, especially the main slider. All of these problems are repairable by competent electronics tech.

Hello, I recently bought a Mackie Profx8 mixer here in the UK and I cannot locate the fuse. The AC socket does not have the fuse tray underneath (unlike my Mackie speakers) and there is no indication...

Essentially if the fuse goes, the unit is rendered useless until it is repaired. Replacing the fuse without repairing would likely cause further damage in the unit. Fuses blow for a reason that is usually a failure in the unit. Failures don't fix themselves. The ability to replace the fuse is therefore a moot point. To keep your unit safe ALWAYS power all interconnected equipment from the SAME power receptacle or conditioning module. This means running extension cords to powered speakers if that is what you have to get power the mixer. Powering mixers at one end of a room from a receptacle and the amps or speakers from a recpetacle on a stage at the other end will likely damage you equipment when a ground fault occurs or ground bounce in the building wiring ruptures the sensitive input/output circuits of your equipment.

I'm having a problem with my zanussi fla1101w the water dosen't get hot anymore. The hot and cold inlets are connected correctly thanx

sounds like a bad mixer valve -- it could be getting power to the mixer valve but it is stuck and not opening. use a meter to check for voltage at the mixer and if you have voltage then the mixer is bad and needs to be replaced. if you do not have voltage at the mixer then the problem could be at the main board.

Pioneer DJM 600 mixer keeps blowing ic 557 fuse on power supply board

I repair DJM 600 for many years. :) The reason for the burning of IC 557 (+8V H 600mA ) is invalid amplifier for headphones!!!
Replace IC 310 and IC 312 (in big mainboard), and replace
IC 557with original fuse 600mA
!!!!!CHECK YOUR HEADPHONES!!!!!! This is the cause burning amps.!!!!!
