Maytag gas dryer MGD5630HW0, error code flashing F3 E3 after a few minutes. Can someone tell me what the code is for?

I did A & B, B actually did the trick and I have had absolutely no problems.

Possible Solutions
A
Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for one (1) minute.
  1. Power unit up by turning on the circuit breaker(s).
  2. Start a time dry cycle.
  3. Monitor the dryer for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
B
It indicates that the lint screen or vent is clogged; the vent is crushed, kinked or has too many turns. ... The dryer will continue to run when this diagnostic code is present.

My dryer did the same thing. I cleaned all the vents thoroughly, if you are unable to clean inside where the vent screen is try this. remove lint screen, using tape or rubberband attach a empty paper towel roll to the end of your vacuum crevice tool. Also at the 99 cent store I purchased a appliance brush to loosen any lint inside before vacuuming. The brush works better then the one I purchased from Home Depot for $15.
Vacuum the inside of the dryer, be sure to vacuum the very back inside and around the door.
This is the tricky part now.
The dryer flex hose actually has to be set just right. If the placement is incorrect you will get the error codes, dryer turns off after mins etc.

Here is a Flex hose tip video. Hope this is helpful

My Frigidaire Dryer (Model #FASE7073LWO has a error "E63" listed on the window. What error is this in reference too?

I appreciate your post, Aeraci Los Fresnos!

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer is providing an error code of "E63". The "E63" code stands for heater to earth has been grounded, this could be a possible issue with your heating coil or connector. I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes this will help clear out any miscommunications. If you continue to experience an issue with the "E63" error code I would suggest consulting with a professional technician come out and provide an accurate diagnosis for repairs. Best of luck! -OOS

Error E063

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are receiving an E63 code on your Frigidaire Affinity dryer and want to know what it means. The E63 code means that there is possibly something going on with the heating element or some wiring inside your dryer. This can also be a false code. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Electrolux dryer has code of E63

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error E63 in your Electrolux Dryer indicates that the temperature inside is too hot/overheating, to start with check the vent and try to clean it. If still it's not resolved then the issue is with the thermal fuse going bad and needs to be replaced. It is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

I have an Maytag model # MAEDZ600TW2 Epic Z Electric dryer , the drum turns but no heat , circut breakers were checked , lint screen is clean , btw , date of purchase was 3/23/09

There are 2 common reasons your dryer will not heat.
1. Your limit switch is out on the dryer not allowing the heating element to switch on.
2. Your heating element is out.

before you try to fix this yourself it should be covered by warranty.
