Question about Car Audio & Video
I installed a Jensen UV7i DVD deck in my Chevy yesterday, and it worked like a champ. Now when I use the CD or DVD player, it is very loud in the drivers side speakers, and the volume wont adjust. There is also a loud boom through the speakers every couple of minutes. When I switch to the radio function every thing is normal. WTF? I pulled the unit out and everything is connected as per the givin wiring diagram.

Yo, I've got the perfect solution to your problem. Pull out the head unit from your dash. Then, remove the wiring harness carefully from the unit. Now, push in the yellow power wire (even jiggle it a little) making sure it's tightly snug the small port of the wiring harness. Then, plug the harness back into the unit and try turning it on. I've found that the wires come lose easily on this unit. hit me back up at Darkintel74@aol.com.

to the guy who is looking for the wire diagram, you can buy a wire kit for the stereo connection for about $60 from best buy or some other place like that. your car's door ding and some other things wont work with out it. hope that helps you some.

This is the wiring diagram for the RF modulator. Not sure if this helps or not - the wire colors should be the same as what you are asking for.
