Printer I'm not very good at this.All I can tell you is after I went threw all the steps, It came back with this message. The driver cannot be installed because it is either not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner. Please HELP! It's a Lexmark Z845 Printer

    My printer is a Brother MFC 420CN, and my printer just stopped working. Problem seems to be " this driver is not digitally signed". Its funny too, because my laptop is still able to print from this same printer, but my main computer that supports the network, printer doe not work. Got a solution for this? Appreciated if you do. I uninstalled printer, installed printer, repeatedly.

Can't install printer


Hi there,
  • Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
  • Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
  • restart the computer
  • try to download drivers from the below given link by selecting the printer model.

  • after installing the cannon drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer. 
  • then you can connect the printer and print a test page.

Using 4 x 6 photo paper


Oh - HP has a great little document on this. There was a big update to the iphoto on 10.5 leopard. If you have that OS then message back and I can tweak it to your OS otherwise all other versions prior to iphoto 8 should work with this document.

Printer Drive Problem


Please uninstall all drivers and software related to printer. Detach printer from computer connection.

Install drivers and software without the printer connected.

Restart computer and connect printer.

We are very unhappy with our Kodak 5100 printer. The most immediate problem is that it stopped printing. We tried changing the print cartridges, plugging and unplugging and still get only very faded...


it is because of the faulty or short tracked print head.better to buy a new hp printer rather than a kodak print head.hp printer is always a better choice

Printer keeps saying insert memory card

My Wife accidently deleted the software on our computer that was the HP Officejet 5610 all in one printer. Now when I went to reinstall it it will go just so far and than it tells me to restart the...


Try removing all of the HP software the correct way (Control Panel/ add remove programs) then reboot your machine. You should then reinstall the printer driver without getting the redundency message.

Won't scan


1. From CONTROL PANEL choose ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS
2. Uninstal ALL Lexmark stuff.
3. Reboot
4. Download latest software from lexmark.com for your scanner.
5. Install ONLY the latest driver (not from your CD)
6. Reboot.
7. Good luck!

Error - carriage jam message


SolutionStep one: Perform a power reset and connect the printer directly into the electrical outlet Remove all the paper loaded in the main input tray.
Make sure that the product is turned off. 
Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the product.
Disconnect the power cord from the product.
Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet and wait 10 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord directly into the electrical outlet and check for the following.
Make sure that the power cord used is the one provided with the product.
If a computer is connected to the product, make sure that the computer is connected to a grounded (three-prong) wall outlet.
Make sure that the power cord is firmly connected to both the product and the power supply.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
Press the power button ( ) to turn on the product.
Reconnect the USB cable to the back of the product.
If the issue is resolved, proceed to Step six: Print a self-test page.
If the issue continues, proceed to the next step.
