Defective mechanism,  a stucked mechanism is present. camcorder are smart it can detects error (such as E:61:20) and shuts down itself for safety. earlier models dominoes the defect if the user is not quick enough to react when something goes wrong with the camera. You need professional service to fix it.

Write protect is on the screen

Remove the storage card from the camera and look for the Write Protect switch on it. The switch will usually have a locked and an open padlock symbol. Ensure that it is set to the open, unprotected setting.

My cannon power shot will not register that the flash is flipped up, so the flash will not turn on. How do i fix this

Are you sure you did not select flash off? This setting remains even when you switch off the camera. See basic settings page 14. If on top of the screen next to the ISO symbol is a flash symbol with a bar, you manually switched off your flash.

Cannot get rid of the lock symbol and it won't start even b4 the symbol appeared?

This sounds like a faulty door lock switch or a faulty main electronic logic board. When the door lock switch is faulty or opened it pauses the main board to allow the machine to stop working without switching off completely so that you don't lose the cycle when opening the door during a wash. But there should be a button to push to release the door lock when starting up the machine.if that doesen't work then there is a breakdown of communication from the door lock switch to the main logic board and visa versa if the board is faulty. If your machine is more than five years old then those two problems are the most common in those machines. Have a technician check it out.

How do i get the flashed turned on

First, check to make sure you're not in the macro mode. There's a slide switch on the end of the camera, near the SD card slot. Slide the switch away from the flower toward the mountain to take it out of macro mode. The flash won't fire in macro mode.

Then, if the flash still doesn't fire, take a look at the flash mode. Press the up-arrow button to bring up the flash menu. If it's currently set in the lightning-bolt-in-a-circle-with-a-slash-through-it symbol, you've got the flash turned off. Set it to the lightning-bolt-and-"A" for automatic flash or the lightning-bolt for forced flash.

If the flash still doesn't fire, then it's broken.

How to set English language in lumix digital camera ( DMC-FX35 ), I cannot set because it used japanes language in camera and the manual also don't have english language

Slide the REC/PLAYBACK selector switch to the camera symbol. Set the mode dial to the camera symbol. Press the MENU/SET button. Use cursor-up/down to select the next-to-last item on the menu (it will have a head-and-speech-bubble symbol).

You can download the English-language manual from the manufacturer's web site at

No matter what my settings are, the pictures are still blurry even when I set it on a self timer and place it on a solid location. Is this a defect or can it be fixed?

Make sure the macro/far switch is in the appropriate position. The macro mode (the flower symbol) is for taking pictures of objects close to the camera. The far mode (the mountain symbol) is for other pictures.

How would i know if door switch it is not working on my microwave

Use a multimeter and set it to ohms or continuity (the multimeter could have an audible symbol and when you touch both leads should make an audible sound, most of them work this way), if it's a normally open switch you should have continuity (a sound from the meter or a zero or zeros) when the door is closed only and no sound from the meter when the door is open. If the switch it's normally closed you should hear a sound from the meter when the door is open and no sound when the door is closed. If you have a sound from the meter with the leads connected at each side of the switch regardles if the door is open or closed your door switch is bad or if you don't hear a sound from the meter regardles if the door is open or closed the door switch is bad.

It sounds like your mode selector external slide switch is misaligned with the inner one on the circuit board. Would recommend simply opening the camera case to remove the back face so that you can inspect the inner switch. While you have the case removed, also examine the ribbon cables to make sure they're all nicely seated in their connectors.

Here's a couple guides to help you remove the case. Go no further than simply to remove the external case so that you can inspect the above. When reassembling, MAKE SURE that the inner slide switch is aligned with the external slide switch in the same position:

Finally, also make sure you that read the following, as there is a risk of electrical shock if you're not careful:
