Web cam installation
i have installed the software given for my creative web cam live.But still my web cam is not working.its showing error.when i invite my friends to view my web cam in ym ,its saying that web cam is not connected. pls help me........

- I have exactly the same problem with,Creative Labs WebCam Live! 'Effects'
Now I have downloaded Creative Cam Centre from http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/ after losing my installation disc assuming that's the driver needed? (Comes with a 'Cam Detector')
Dosn't detect anything,
When I plug my Live! Effects camera in changing numerous USB slots, the Windows recognises that Webcam Live! has been plugged in trys to install it with installation wizard searchs the net itself to help,
but fails the installation is incomplete and I have no working webcam.
Solutions?

if you use vista
some problems arrise with vista
vista is in its infancy stages right now some hardware and software does not work with vista makin it imposible to work with
this is something windows is working on
i dont know how long it will take but theres alot of non compliant vista software and hardware there working on right now to be compliant with there Os system this is a patience process
what i tell people is that if windows update hasnt made an update for it they will its just matter of time before they get to all products
im waiting a year for my vista to come out that way i know most of bugs are worked out
