Question about Garden
Hi, mower has started as it should for the last 2 years without fail, however this morning, started mower and the auto choke would not disengage. it was chugging on choke for about 2 mins, would not run properly. switched off, left it for 30 secs then tried starting again. this time it started as it should & ran correctly. anyone know if this a problem that will get worse, also any cure for this prob. thanks, steve

Clean the auto choke they do start to stick over time even just spraying some carb cleaner in the air intake with the filter of can clean it.

Jim. It is probably the jet is clogged or the float might be stuck.Pull the bowl off of it and inspect.
Or try carb cleaner from the auto parts store

I posted same problem as this couple days ago. Took mower to shop. The governor spring (located just under the air filter) had come off. So glad it was something so minor!

You have a bad wire which rubbed on the plastic housing to the engine block near the starter mower which causes a short and blows the fuse. I have the same tractor and this happened to mine also. The wire is red.

01 Fuel tank cap? Loosen it to see if it is plugged.
02 Possible fuel line obstruction? Disconnect at carb to make sure there is adequate fuel flow.
