Circulating fluidized bed (CFB) is the reactor in the system that test for the presence of chlorine. This reactor must be faulty by not giving a range of expected results.

I HAVE A VERTICAL WHITE LINE (1" WIDE") ON MY DISPLAY

If it runs all the way from top to bottom, will not go away, and perhaps flickers or vibrates, it is quite possibly a symptom of a faulty LCD panel. Attach a second display using the auxiliary display port on the rear. If the white line does not show up on this display, your main LCD panel is faulty.
Main LCD panel replacement on this model is not a difficult job for a certified tech. The panel can be had for $80 used (17" screen; other sizes may vary).
