Can't open cover on gateway e4000 desktop computer

Bring it to an autoshop like AutoZone or PepBoys to check it via computer scan.

The diagnostic plug should seperate from the plastic cover with a slight tug. It is not in the plastic cover that tight

never seens a photo here, but they work and ive posted them many times.
here is how. you snap a photo then drag it to desktop (PC)
then click insert photo, and find desktop photo and bingo.
see icon above, looks like mountains, that is the add photo button.

and we need what engine your 4runner has, there are many
engine displacement will cover that.
or open hood, look up , see EPA tag (i only do USA posts) and
see tag and your engine, is stated there.

Go to the Avast Antivirus homepage (www.avira.com). Once it is loaded, go to the "Desktop Solutions" tab at the top of the page.

Go to the left on the next page and click on Home Edition. You will then be brought to a page where you can either download the software directly or register. Click on the register tab.

Enter your email address, your name and confirm that you are only using the program for personal use. Click the Submit button and wait for an email. Leave this window open.

Once you receive your registration key, go back to the registration/download page and click on Download. When the pop-up window opens, make sure to save the binary file to your desktop.

Run the setup program that you just downloaded and confirm all of your information. When prompted, make sure you select the typical configuration, unless you are comfortable customizing antivirus software.

Once the installation has finished, restart your computer. After your computer boots back up, open Avast and insert the registration key that you received in your email.

Set your antivirus auto-scan. I find it is best to pick a weekly time when you know your computer will be on but you won't be doing anything important. After you set other preferences, you'll be done and Avast will take care of your computer's protection all by itself.

The Gateway E-3400 Desktop computer, uses a Low Profile, ATI Rage 128 Pro graphics card, according to ATI Support.

It is an AGP 4X graphics adapter card.

I see what you mean about the mount bracket.
REAL SMALL! The video card is a Low Profile card, but the mount bracket is Unusual!

From searching Gateway Support,

1.Looking through their graphics cards,

2.Looking for an ATI Rage 128 AGP 4X graphics card, that is Low Profile, and has the bracket I believe your computer uses,

The only way to be - Sure, is to physically look at the Product number on the video card you have now.

If this number does not match up, please come back, and state so.
I'll give you the link to the Gateway Support page, with all of the AGP video card product numbers, so you can match up to the correct one.

clean up the old valve with carb cleaner-make sure it slides open and shut,put it back in then check for a vacumn leak,the red and green plastic hoses coming out of the intake usually cracks somewhere above the passenger side valve cover inside the covering

From the manual:

• Open the rear lid.
• Open the cover on the backside of the luggage compartment. To open the cover, turn the two "quick-releases" and fold the cover down.
• Reach through the opening by the fuel filler flap. Grab the cable with th plastic covering and pull down. The filler flap will open by itself.

If you are talking about a Desktop Computer system, On the front of the CD drive is a very small hole. Insert the end of a paperclip into it and the drawer will open.

There are a number of known issues affecting the 9-3 convertible top. TSB 811-1989 describes a problem and fix for the cables to the lock for the top cover.
TSB 811-2101 refers to the jamming of the top cover due to a deformed hinge and provides the fix for this.
TSB 811-2160 deals with instances where the first bow hits the top cover while the top is opening, due to a deformed shear pin, and provides that repair procedure.
Where the soft top cannot be operated or it stops in mid-operation, the SID displays the message CHECK
SOFT TOP COVER, and the following diagnostic trouble codes are be generated: B2025, B2026, B2030, B2031, refer to TSB 811-2236.
Any of these four problems can result in the top cover failing to open and close properly, and can interrupt the smooth operation of the opening and closing of the top.
Finally, the top may somehow have otherwise become out of sync and this does indeed require a Tech 2 diagnostic scan and programming tool to correct. All Saab dealerships have this tool, and an increasing number of independent shops that do appreciable work on Saabs are so equipped now.
