Your rechargable battery may no longer accept a full charge if it is old.. Get it tested at a garage.
Possibly the battery is OK, but the lawnmower blades are too stiff to turn and the battery soon gives up. Check blades can rotate freely, and have not got entwined grass or string etc wound around the shaft
If battery it's not fully charge that's why no matter if engine rotate will not start jump the battery and drive it at less 10 minutes to fully charge the battery
I think I would change the petrol in the tank as it may have become a bit stale. Also I would replace the battery.Make certain the replacement battery in fully charged before you try again.
have you checked the switchs?..all wires are on them..& 1st check the fuse as not blown...the regultor charges the battery....so if the battery is fully charged the indicators & horn should still work..i would look for a wireing fault 1st...hope this helps
Hi Cyril, In theory this charger is fully automatic and stops the charging process once it detects that the battery has been fully charged (it will not restart charging until the battery has been taken out + put back in). Of course, as with any electrical item, it's probably safest to unplug it if you're not planning to use it for a long time (e.g. weeks.) Hope this helps. Raf
it might be a problem with the battery connectors. They might not touch the battery well. another reason, it might be the battery is dead or the power button is not working.
