If it is resettable, find the switch and there should be a button in the middle of the 2 wires.

Comfortmaker model CXH548GKA100 and serial # E12092385. Showing fault #8 welded connection. Contactor will not reset

Check the contactor on the outdoor unit. Sounds as if it's pitted and has stuck closed. Functions just like a pressure switch on a well. ( if that helps) it can be disassembled and filed clean but better off to replace. 240 volts hurt ALWAYS TURN POWER OFF. Good luck!!

Home furnace comfortmaker blowing cold air

Home owner's manual? Troubleshooting section. Gas or electric?
If gas, pilot light may be out, or other gas controls. Are you sure you have gas supply? Do you have other Gas appliances so you can check? Furnace needs power for controls, fan and thermostat. Are you sure you have electric power to the furnace? Does the thermostat have a fan switch? If so turn it on and see if the fan turns on. If it does not turn on you may have a circut breaker poped. or some other reason power to the furnace is not working.

Lp furnance ignites for 3seconds then shut off.

A pressure switch code means there is an unsafe condition that should be looked at by a competent service tech. Sometimes there is a switch failure, but most of the time there is an unsafe condition.

FURNACE WILL NOT LIGHT

If the combustion blower is working the next step in the process would be the pressure switch. Check for plugs in the drain lines or venting. If the pressure switch is working it could be the ignitor.

Cliff, this is Teng. Look inside your furnace if there is any flashing code. If your furnace is recently installed it should have electronic control board.

Comfortmaker furnace model GUH075 requires resetting for flame to light?

Is this an oil or gas fueled furnace? All heating appliances have several safety switches in the controls. Flicking the on/off switch (assuming you mean the emergency toggle switch) is not resetting the burner. If you pressed a button near the red light, that MAY have been the primary control reset.
Your problem could be anything from the main power switch to one of the many controls with a wiring or sensor issue. Or even a t-stat wire problem.
Regardless, a thorough technician should be checking the entire circuit, from the t-stat to every control in the circuit. Including every wire.
Lastly, a qualified licensed technician should never diagnose without being in front of the appliance. Hope this helped :)

Comfortmaker furnace will not light!!

Make sure you have gas to the unit and the switch on top of valve is turn to on. Can you here the gas valve click? It igniter comes on and a delay and the gas valve should come on. Kill power to furnace to reset control board. Rus Let me know how it goes.

Where is the reset button on the Comfortmaker AC-model number NAC048AKC3? Thank you!

if it is a split system that is permanently installed in your house the reset button will always be near the compressor so that means on the outside unit somewhere, you probably wont need to remove any screws to get to it. but before you press that button and think all is well, why did the reset button trip? answer> because it is a high pressure cut off. your unit probably reached over 350psi on the high side line or possibly even higher. that is not good. you may have a dirty condenser coil (outside) and you can just hose that out with a garden hose (pull the disconnect first). or you may have a rotting out coil if your unit is old or you live less than 5 miles from the ocean. Or you may have a bad condenser (outside) fan motor. check that out. if it overloads again after hitting the reset (which this unit may not even have, not all units have these just the higher end ones) well if it does overload again call a licensed ac guy trust me it will cost you less in the long run.
