The Jcpenney ones seem to have the most problem with this. Some of the gears might be out together wrong, see if Jcpenney will take it back.

I have a broken ceiling fan blade arm for Harbor Breeze Model #OM52-5B/Q1M (outdoor fan). Can I get a replacement arm or do I have to buy a whole new fan?

you will have to get 3 (4) blades as they have to be exactly the same
At this point I would advise a new fan because the settings of the blades have to be exact or it will wobble all over the place
to explain even with a new unit, the fan blades have to be measured from a fixed surface ( normally the ceiling
each tip of the blade has to be the same distance and the front and back of the blade measurements at the tip have to be the same on all blades
If you get it right the fan will spin without any movement

We have a brand new skyrover navigator YW85816 the bottom blades will not spin, nothing is stuck, you can spin them, but when you give it speed, it will not take off, because they do not go. HELP, 7 yr...

Hi! On all of thses tiny co-axil helicopters, it is common for either the tiny gear on a motor shaft, or the larger gear on the rod for the main blade to slide a bit so that the two gears no longer line up. You may need to open the helicopter by removing the side screws holding the two halvs of the body together. Check and see if the gear on the motor is meshing with the gear for the bottom blades. If not, you should be able to slide the gear on the motor shaft up or down until they mesh well. Hope this helps! Now, if somone can just tell me where I can order spare blades for this little copter!

S107G upper blade doesnt rotate, and leans to the side. lower blade spins...but no take off. brand new out the box......sup?

Hi,

Check that the bottom gear/cog is engaging with the motor drive gear. This is a common fault and usually just need to move the cog on the motor.

Kind regards, Julian

Blade comes off wheel on horizontal saw have a wilton 7040 horizontal saw. after cutting about 1/2 thrru a piece of metal the blade sticks and then stars comming off the right wheel and starts cutting into...

if its a new blade, make sure that it is the proper length for the saw, sometimes aftermarket blades look like they are the right size but the difference of a few mm can cause the blade to track. if its an old blade, it could just be dull enough that it is binding on the material you are cutting and this draws the blade off the wheels. even if the blade isnt that old or seems sharp, if you have a brand new blade handy that would be the easiest thing to try.

your manual will have instructions on how to adjust the blade guide bearings. if this is a new saw, it SHOULD be set properly and be working from the factory but they may still need to be adjusted. an older saw obviously may have shifted a bit from normal usage. if you dont have a manual one can be downloaded from the wilton tools website.

before adjusting the guides, though, check to see that the bearings spin freely. if they do not spin smoothly with minimum pressure, they need to be replaced. they also should be replaced if they spin VERY freely because this is also an indication that they are pretty worn and may actually be binding up under pressure.

I have an apache 3 channel helicopter.the top blades no longer spin so the helicopter just spins clockwise very quickly

Same problem I had. There are two motors. One to spin the top blade and a second to spin the bottom. My motor was defective out of the box to spin the top blade. Very poor quality as my AH 64 had a bad circuit board. I had to take parts from one to fix the other.

The rotor on the base for the food processor will not engage. It spins freely, and the black wheel on the bottom rotates, but does not engage the blade spindle. Why?

Usuallt, it is simple - you have the position the gear box of the food processor side until there is no gap between the gear box and the teeth on the base - this usually takes me a few tries to get it right.

If you are confident that there is no gap, call Cuisinart and see about getting a new gear box - 1-800-726-0190
