If all you get is fans and maybe some lights on, then you most likely have a bad power supply. Buy from the store for $20+ and watch a youtube video on how to replace. I'd rate it at a 2/10 for difficulty. Very easy repair.

Cooling fan cannot get started by itself once it starts....if you give it a little touch it will start. Could it be the fan motor?

Hello,
Yes that sound exacly like a bad motor,by giving it a little help and it starts and runs that means power is at fan motor to let it run,it would not run if power wasnt there so since power is there everything else is fine and sending power to fanmotor and it just wont start. By replacing that fan it will run byself without and help. Reply back with EXACT model number and i'll give you the part number so you can get replacement motor. and while i think its the freezer fan motor your talking about?is it the freezer fan or the one by the compressor?

Replace the fan motor and capacitor. If you want to go the cheaper route, change the capacitor first and try to run the unit. The cap. is what gets the fan motor running on start up. Another way to test it is to manually turn the fan bade and while it's still turning, make sure your hands are clear of the blades and turn the condensor on. If the fan runs normally, then it's your fan capacitor.

THE RADIATOR FAN IS NOT COMING ON

Disconnect the connector at the coolant sensor. Place a jumper wire on the connector. Turn the key on to run position and see if the fan starts, but don't start car. If it doesn't run, try turning it with your hand to see if it is free. If it turns, unplug the connector at the fan and place a wire from the + side of the battery to one side of the fan itself. Take another wire and place it on the - side of the battery, and put it on the other side of the fan terminal. If the fan is good it will run at this point. Be careful not to let the wires touch each other since it is a close fitting. If the fan runs, start looking for a bad relay. If it doesn't run, replace fan.

Evaporator fan did not start running when condenser fan started.

I don't know why there would be much of a delay between the condenser and evaporator fans coming on. If you have diagnosed it as a bad motor, that's probably correct.

But the motor could just need cleaning and lubricating

Continental 99, Electric fans run all the time.

generally the fans will run at start up to run through it's initialization however they should shut off after v30 seconds until the engine reaches operating tempature. now the sensor could be the problem, but first check the fans relay it could be the fault that circuit should not close until the temp reaches 180 degrees so if the relay is shorted closed instead open the fans will always run

Do you think it could be the fan capasitor?

if even after changing the capacitor the fan does not run on its own , so it indicates the weak fan motor .but before that check whether the bearings are chocked up ,sometimes even choked bearings cause this type of problem.

for any further queries feel free to ask.
thanks
