Question about SanDisk Sansa c250 (2 GB) MP3 Player (SDMX7-2048)

1 Answer

Only one headphone works

Hi, my problem is that 1 headphone works no doubt. The problem is that if the connector of the earphone changes position the second earphone goes out, looses sound, or decreased performance. I tried the earphone on my brothers iPod and they worked perfectly fine. I would appreciate it if you can help me with this problem. Thanks and bye.

The earphones are not working properly. the voice is coming only in one of the earphones not in both of them

Try using another pair of headphones to test if the problem is with the headphones. If the problem persists, you may need to contact their customer service for repair. It may be cheaper to simply replace the unit.

My ipod shuffle will play my downloaded songs on my computer but not with earphones?

Make sure the earphone or headphone connector is pushed in all the way.
â Make sure the volume is adjusted properly. A volume limit might be set.

To remove the volume limit:
1 Connect iPod shuffle to your computer.
2 In iTunes, select iPod shuffle in the Source pane.
3 Click the Settings tab.
4 Deselect “Limit maximum volume.”
Enter the password, if required

Left side of earphone jack won't work. I have tried more than one headset.

Sounds like a bad headphone jack. Contact Apple at 1-800-APL-CARE.

I can only hear out of one headphone. I replaced the headphones and the problem still exists

does both of the earphones are new?
make sure you plugged the earphones properly .
If the earphones are new and connected properly then the problem is in the player connector and you probably have to take it to be fixed or even more simple buy new one.

My ipod

Yes, if you changed headphones and it is still happening, it's almost surely a problem with your iPod's jack. I think the warranty is 1 year only, so you should get it repaired asap.

Ipod earphones work sometimes or not at all?

Hi Humed, your best bet would be to determine whether or not it is the iPod that is malfunctioning or the headphones themselves.
To do this I would recommend plugging a separate set of headphones into your iPod that you know are functional.  If they work then obviously your iPod earphones are malfunctioning.  If the new headphones that you have checked are still not working when connected to the iPod then the problem is likely with the audio jack on the iPod.  In that case you should determine whether or not you have a warranty and send it in for repair at the place you purchased it or directly to Apple.
I wouldn't worry though it's likely that your iPod earphones are just getting a little old and the wear inside the white insulator have begun to fray, you could manually try cutting open the wire and reconnecting the wires but you may end up making it worse, and headphones are relatively cheap to come by.
Thanks for asking and I hope I helped.

2 sets of headphones will play only on left earphone.

Dirt inside of the headphone jack can be the culprit. If you have canned air, you can blow it out, or twist the headphone connector inside the jack to clean the contacts.

Ipod doing wierd thingg

First off - Is there any warranty warranty left? Otherwise what most likely happened is the headphone jack connector broke a terminal. If it is a model with a screen, the headphone jack is a separate piece off the motherboard. It's a cheap part off of ebay, just find someone with nimble hands to reconnect the ribbon cable inside.

in your case, if the one of the headphones of your device is not working, and you have already tried different earphones and verified that there is no problem with the earphones. Sorry to say this but your unit needs service. Call samsung and let them set a repair request for you. :(
