Question about SanDisk Sansa c250 (2 GB) MP3 Player (SDMX7-2048)

Only one headphone works

Hi, my problem is that 1 headphone works no doubt. The problem is that if the connector of the earphone changes position the second earphone goes out, looses sound, or decreased performance. I tried the earphone on my brothers iPod and they worked perfectly fine. I would appreciate it if you can help me with this problem. Thanks and bye.

I have the same problem. This is my second Sansa c250, and they both had the same problem; only one earphone works.

My iPhone headphones won't work on my digilandl 718m tablet how can I get them to work on it?

Hi Amy

Be aware
There are different length's & thickness's of earphone plugs
Also the spacing on the earphone plug shaft between the black and silver connections may be out.

Take your tablet to a shop & checkout what works.
Cheers

External speakers are working but headphones/earphones are not working on my computer

Maybe the headphone connector is broken. If that is correct you need to replace the motherboard. If you had connected the earphone and accidentally received a tug on the cable perhaps the earphone connector was damage.

What can I do to fix a cable issue in my headphone? The right side doesn't work unless I move around the wire attached to the headphone.

Hi, what makes oneofthe earphones not to work,is because the wire inside the right side of the earphone hascut and will need to soldered back to it's position.

Open the right side of the earphone, and use a soldering iron and a lead to put back the wire properly.
after put back the wire, problem solved.

Thanks for using fixya..

Can you connect earphones to this TV? -GE25GT240 Serial #943516018

There is no front panel earphone jack for this TV. From the owners manual I can't find the rear view of this television. If there are connections on the back for AUDIO OUT there will be two connections for an RCA type connector. All you need to do is to get an adapter (from Radio Shack) and plug that into the two Audio Out connectors on the back of your television and plug your headphones into that adapter.

I recommend this one: http://www.amazon.com/Male-3-5mm-Stereo-Female-Y-Cable/dp/B000I23TTE

If you have a 1/4 headphone connector (the old type) you can convert the 1/8 to 1/4 inch with this one. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=1%2F8+inch+male+to+1%2F4+inch+female&x=16&y=24

Headphone problem

Hi there and welcome at Fixya, the support team (lfete)

Please try with another pair of earphones and see if it works :O)

If it works with the another earphones, then you have to check yours :

1.See if the cable and connectors are ok
2.Try to move the cable a little bit all the way (you can move it up and down)
3.Then be sure that it is inserted the whole way in, some times you can connect the earphone nearly in to the product, that means one of the right/left side will not play.
If is still not working please return here again

Hope it helps

I can only hear out of one headphone. I replaced the headphones and the problem still exists

Hi
does both of the earphones are new?
make sure you plugged the earphones properly .
If the earphones are new and connected properly then the problem is in the player connector and you probably have to take it to be fixed or even more simple buy new one.

Headphones and sound.

Hey guys!
Since the internal speakers are working, the sound portion of your pc is set up correctly and working. That is also confirmed by the fact that the sound goes away when you insert the earphone jack.
That means that either your headphone jack is defective (I doubt that, since 2 of you seem to have the same problem, but possible), your earphones (or cables) are defective, or there is a compatibility problem with the earphone jack in the pc and the earphone plug on the earphone cable. Just because the plug fits the jack, doesn't mean that it's making the proper connection. I've been stung with that one myself, a time or two. That's about all there is to that circuit.

The only other thing that I might suggest is that you try to plug the earphones in, hold the Fn key while pressing the F8 key a couple of times. That key combination toggles you speakers on and off. Doubt that will buy you anything, but it's worth a try.
