This is generally a sensitivity issue with the keyboard. It's usually caused when the rubber depressors that activate each key start getting worn. Sometimes you can take each key off individually, take off the rubber depressor and clean the contact point on the keyboard and up inside the depressor where it makes contact. Clean it with with rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. This is alot of work and only fixes the problem about 60% of the time. Your only other option is replacing the keyboard.

I have had the same problem several times over and it is VERY likely that the liquid has reached other components (specifically the motherboard) and will corrode anything that the liquid has come to rest on. The keyboard itself is easy enough to remove and replace, but the only place I am finding parts for advents is in the UK. This means replacement of the keyboard COULD be costly and in the long run the computer may fail due to corrosion especially if it was pop or juice or any other acidic liquid.
Here is the link I found for a possible solution.

Good luck, and I hope you havent damaged your motherboard! Kirk
