To change from Cecilius to Fahrenheit on the remote control, hold both the + and the - simultaneously and this will enable you to toggle between C and F. You will need to do this each time you change your batteries.

I want to find a frigidaire control remote UL-R51M/CE

Hey Ralph, thanks for your post!
I see that you need help locating the remote for your Frigidaire refrigerator. In order to better assist you I would need to have your model number. You can locate the model number on the inside wall of the refrigerator. Once I have that information I would be happy to assist you further. -Matt

Why does the split unit blow hot air in air conditioner mode, when switched on with the remote control.

because you have the temperature set at 28 degrees celcuis . Change the temperature to 18 degrees and it will cool 28 is hotter
It is a reverse cycle air conditioner it will warm the room if you set temperature to 28 degrees . Set it lower and it will blow out cold air.
Have exact same air conditioner as I recognise the remote control.
point it at the air conditioner when altering the temperature setting.
Check under the slide compartment also on the remote for more advanced settings.

It's hard to give you a price range, as that model has apparently been discontinued by the manufacturer.

Can not figure out how to control thermostat

If you take off the front control panel cover (simply prying off on the edge with finger) you will find 2 small buttons under the display panel, one being mode and the other being prog.

Press both simultaneously and hold down for 5 secs and the display will blink, press prog to advance to what you want to program, kinda like setting a timex watch. As I recall you can set degrees celcius or farenhight/ cycle/Hi/Lo etc.

Just keep in mind when you set using the up and down arrows:

flashing H means: at what temp do you want HEAT to kick in?

flashing C means: at what temp do you want AC (if you have it) to kick in....if no A/C fan simply blows air.

Hope that helps.

Need to know what the icons stand for on remote control for Toshiba Split System Air Conditioner. Don't have a manual?

Generally all the symbols on each unit are the same. The snowflake does cooling, the sun does heating, the fan does fan only mode, the water droplet does dehumidify and the arrows means automatic mode. The increasing bars refers to the fan speed.

Can Movincool classic plus 26 AC set the air temperature at below 70 degree F?

aircons normally pull down to approx. 17 degree celcius.and heats to approx 30 degree celcius.  most of the time you need to simply clean the condenser properly and to make sure fans are in good order.
