Lights flashing and beeping on drain stage

HI there I am having a similar problem to that given elsewehere on this site, my roblem is my baumatic bdw5 starts its cycle fine then at the drain stage it stops, nd beeps with all lights flashing. I ahve tried cleaning the basket and I have also checked its draining at this tage by removing the drain hose and draining into a washing bowl, to whcih it is draining at a high speed so i deem this to be functioning correctly. I did notice the water is not hot however. Any idea what I should do next, or does this mean it is termianl?

When this has happened to us, it has meant a new control panel being fitted. It has been nothing to do with the draining process, just the electronics. The control panel isn't too expensive, but if you call a Baumatic engineer he will come out, do nothing and come out again and it will prob take about a month. I suggest you find a fixed price engineer who will perhaps be able to mend it on his first visit if you suggest the control panel. We have so many problems, we tend to buy in spares in advance so that they are in the house for the engineer and he can't fob us off with a return visit two weeks later. The parts that go are doorstraps, the control panel, the thermostat and the element. We haven't mended the control panel ourselves, but all other problems are pretty easy to do yourself.

I lie, the control panel is £150! So make sure you chat with your engineer first as this part may be required and his visit on top of this will mean you could have bought a new, more efficient and less hassle Indesit built in dishwasher. Which is what I'll be doing.

My dishwasher keeps beeping at me and the first four lights on the panel are flashing, I have a Baumatic BW07.

I tilted mine backwards with it running and beeping and it stopped beeping shortly...It made a mess on the floor of course but I put it down and lights were still flashing but no more beeping. Thought I would try tipping it forward while it was running and the lights went off and the beeping never started again. Its working fine now??

Baumatic BHD5 works then buttons start flashing and it beeps and stops working

Before buying a new control unit, try to unplug the machine for few hours and plug it back in. It might reset the control panel and solve your problem. Good luck!

Does this when it can't drain properly - check there's no debris in the collecting basket.

Beeping dishwasher

I've not changed a control unit before, so I don't know how easy it is. I would suggest you get a fixed price engineer to come out and tell him in advance what the problem seems to be. Or call a Baumatic engineer and have the control unit sent by the spares department to your address in advance of the engineer's call out. Otherwise it will become around a month long wait and will require 2 visits. If you already have the part - then pehaps the repair won't be stretched over 2 visits?
