GE JSP69 Electric Kitchen Range Controller Problem

The controller that displays the time, timer, oven temp, etc. keeps going out, when you hit the top of the range it comes back on, but for no reason will go back out eventually. Now it has gone out and won't come back on. Suggestions on what to do to fix?

Yes replace the EOC (electronic oven control) after you verify that the board is getting power (no burned wires, no loose connectors) there usually is not a loose wire and the clock has failed. for parts i can help with parts lookup and sourcing if needed will need complete model #

you will need a VOM (Volt-ohm meter) to verify input voltage

Yes you have to actually lift the cooktop burners and start to remove the whole control console, the board is axcessed though the rear of the panel. And Its not always very easy to axcess them.

Ge jbp70bk electric range oven and display does not work

HI- Sounds like you need a new Clock/Controller. As long as everything else is working, getting power then it's most likely the controller. The part is about $120. Hope this helps.

GE JBP79 door locked, no led readout after self clean

Hello- Control is about 250$. Could save 100$ by installing yourself, but the popular "self-destruct" cycle can cook other switches and what-not. Find a tech and inquire up-front if completed repairs are too high, they keep parts, you pay trip charge.- Hope this helps- ED

GE Electric Spectra Oven botton element will not heat

If only one element does not work, then test heating element continuity using a multimeter.
If oven does not bake or broil, then test temp probe.
If there is nothing wrong with elements and temp probe , then test wiring harness to control panel and timer control board.
