The paintballs just fall straigt out of the gun or shots like 5 at a time

The part that is bad Tippmann calls a "ball latch". It's a small orange rubber part that keeps the ball in place before the marker is fired. The parts is inexpensive it is common in most paintball stores or can be found online at www.tippmannparts.com

I highly recommend taking this paintball marker to a local pro shop to have the part replaced. You can service this marker at home but is not easy to put together if you have experience working on then, they have a few springs under tention that make it tough to put back together. If you are interested in doing the repair yourself I highly recommend doing it on on a clean floor in a clean room so when you disassemble it it will be easier to find the springs that could shoot out.

One thing that will make it easier is to leave the feedneck on. It will keep one less spring from jumping out at you, just a tip from a pro. I also highly recommend not using a spray lubricant and to only use oils in you tippmann made for paintball guns.

When i put my paintballs in the gun and i aim down they fall out the top where they shoot from

Sound like your ball detent is gone or broken.

The detent is a tiny piece of rubber that keeps the paintballs in the chamber and from rolling out the barrel. It's a cheap part, but you will need basic knowledge of disassembling a Tippmann 98 to replace it.

You can find ball detents here!

My gun wont shoot. Ill **** it once and it will fire a dead shot then not recock

Time to lube (oil) the gun. A few drops of oil in the inlet hole (where you screw on your tank) should do and then dry fire the gun. If no luck you may need to tear down the gun and clean and lube the internals.

I have an a5 paintball gun with electronic trigger, when i hook it to air and pull the trigger, the hopper is not moving!!!

On the A5 the hopper or Cyclone feed is powered thru a small tube on the feeder side
of the gun. Make sure that tube is connected and if so, pull it off and see if air is flowing
thru it when you pull the trigger. If not, the internal passage may be blocked. Tear down
the gun and clean out the obstruction. If there is a pulse of air coming out the tube when firing
then it may be the Cyclone feed mechanism. Just unscrew the 3 phillips head bolts
under the Cyclone and observe the air driven gear drive. Air up the marker and see
what is moving or not moving. Complete replacement upgrade Cyclone gear drives
are available that say they increase performance if you cant get it moving.

Squeeze trigger once and it fires 3x

if there is a 9 volt battery in the handle, there should be 3 to 5 small dip switchesright by the battery, your set on 3 shot burst, unhook the gas, turn all switches off, and test it, there is also a full auto setting, try different combinations untill you get single shot

My gun just beeps when i pull the trigger even when hooked up to hpa.battery is new.last time i used the gun just before it messed up i had it hooked to o2 and it would fire then beep ,i have a anti syphon...

You have probably messed up your solenoid, did you fire the marker straight up with the o2? I would make sure that all of the board settings are back to factory default especially the dwell and reattempt with compressed air. If the marker is still not firing get your hands on a new solenoid for it.

I have a semi auto alpha black. When im firing on semi auto sometime the gun switches quickly to fully auto and releases lots of CO2 without really shooting any paintballs

Does this only happen when you're low on air? Also, make sure you're using a good paintball oil for lubrication and make sure the marker is clean. It's possible for an o-ring to leak, or once it gets cold to leak, so make sure you use the proper o-ring for the proper location (lots of them look alike so keep them labeled and bagged separately).

Good luck!

My A5 just rapid fires when the trigger is pulled even in semi, if you release the trigger it stops but does it everytime I pull the trigger and the E-trigger seems to be working fine

Make sure your battery is new. It doesn't take a lot of voltage drop to affect performance.

Make sure your marker is clean, and properly lubed with a quality oil make for paintball.

Make sure your board connections are secure. You can change modes on the e-trigger yes? Go through them and fire a few times in each to ensure it's changing.

Make sure you have a full tank of air while your testing to make sure this isn't a problem as well, or causing your issues.

Good luck!

Paintball gun is rapid firing when trigger is pressed. CO2bottle is full and i have tried other bottles but stillth same.

Tippmanns are known for their reliability and are very simple markers making them very easy to repair. you need oil from a local paintball shop or regular sewing machine oil will do.

On one side of the marker there is a little "handle" for cocking the gun, pull that handle as far back as you can and you will see 1 o-ring. put 2 drops of oil on it and fire it a couple times without paintballs to test it. This solves the problem 9/10 for tippmanns, if not..

Sometimes paintballs can break inside your gun. Look and feel inside your breech (where the paintballs go into the gun) and check for paint. If its dirty this can be causing your problem, strip it down and clean it (refer to your manual if you have difficulty)
