I have a Hp compaq dc7600 small form factor, its power supply unit got short-circuit. It is not working now and I want to replace it, but it is not available here in indian market. So, can I use any other(model) power supply? what things should match? or any other solutions to power up my PC. Any suggestion? Thanks
A standard ATX PS won't fit in your low profile case. The plug types can be different too. Usually there's a schematic with a PS that describes the wire color of each voltage. So you could conceivably shove the pins out of one PS plugs and insert them into the different plug, or solder the wires to the correct pins, and leave the PS outside of the case.

I think is not possible, because no space for additional harddisk, casing is too small, but if you release the cdrom, you can plug additional harddisk to cdrom place, but no screw mount to casing

Diagnostic
LED
Explanation Table
Number
of 1-second red LED blinks followed by 2-second pause, then
repeats:
2-processor thermal protection activated
3-processor not installed
4-power supply failure
5-memory error
6-video error
7-PCA failure (ROM detected failure prior to video)
8-invalid ROM, bootblock recover mode
I have only really come across 4 beeps = order new Power Supply or 5 Beeps = reseat the memory and hope it works
