Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones:
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
Once the pictures are on your computer, you can treat them as you do any other file. Obviously, the procedure for inserting a picture into a document depends on the program you're using to create/manipulate the document.
If you dont put a memory card in your camera it is forced to record on and read from the internal memory (which is pretty small). If you do insert a memory card (is it a memory stick?) you can read the card but not the internal memory. Try it both with and without the memory stick.
If they are being saved to the memory card they should all be together. Was the memory card in at time you took the picture? If it wasn't then this means it is saved to the internal memory.
Connect you camera to your computer and see if they show up there. If this does not work take it back to the store you brought it from and ask for techniqucal support. Good luck
When I take a picture, there will be know image. Black. I went into the "share" and the image is black. I kept my smart card and the other images are ok but the knew ones are black. Camera has power. I took the smart card off. Still the problem, black. Took the old images off and took some more shots. All black!! MMMMM?
