With a lot of digital cameras you can switch of the display. Use full when you want to safe power. Check your manual how to switch off and on tour display. If I knew what brand and what type I would have tried to find the manual and page where you could find these settings.

The ON/OFF button blinks but no screen image

Hello,

Since the power led button is on, I think the picture board on your monitor is faulty that is why it is not displaying anything.

Since your computer work perfectly with other monitor, it means the picture board is bad that is why it is not displaying any image.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer or any service center within your vicinity to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself in other to complicate issues.

Take care.

There is no image inside the display when I want to take a picture. And the same problem if I switch to play mode to check the picture .

I think if you check the manual, there is a setting on the menu button that gives you a choice of the viewfinder view and the back display. That could be the problem.

Screen is black while taking picture.

Think that you accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD display on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn the screen back on, just press the DISP button one more time.
